Music Moon offers a range of creative musical activities for children aged between 3-10 years old. All activities are customized to cater for the age and level of the children who take part.

 

Music is a great way for children to have fun, learn new things and gain confidence. Our sessions are linked to the music curriculum and cover rhythm, instrument groups, orchestra family, counting and conducting of beats, musical notation and note values, stave, treble and bass clefs, distinguishing instruments by their sounds, facts about composers, Tempo and different styles of music along with much more.

 

Our aim is to teach children the basic principles of music in a fun and exciting way that will encourage them to take on musical challenges, Have an appreciation and enjoyment of music and hopefully to pick up an instrument of their choosing. 

 

We also offer a junk instrument creation workshop in which we explore the kinds of sounds and instruments we can create using everyday things. This is a really fun session and gives the children the chance to explore what sound is and how it is created.
